They may look like daisies but this beauty is called Xeranthemum. These dainty blooms have a papery feel almost like strawflower. It makes a great cut flower, the pollinators go crazy for it and it also dries beautifully.
Planting: Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before your last frost date. Seeds need light for germination so cover seeds lightly when sowing.
Harvesting: Harvest when blooms are fully open no matter if you're using them fresh or for drying.
