Campanula, also known as Bellflower or Canterbury Bells always makes me think that this must be where the fairies live. A truly unique and whimsical bloom that looks like it belongs in Alice in Wonderland. Flowers are a soft pink and when planted in the fall, will fill the gap between spring and summer. This beautiful bloom adds something just a bit different to bouquets and arrangements. Give this one a try in your garden and I know you’re going to love it as much as I do.

Planting: Seeds should be started in the fall or very early winter. Campanula, is a cool flower that needs the cold and short days of winter so that plants can get established to ensure a good stem length in the spring. Light is required for germination, surface sow seeds and cover with a very fine layer of vermiculite. 150 days to maturity

Harvesting: Stems are ready to be cut once bells have formed and about half of the flowers are open. It is best to harvest during the coolest time of the day.
